Hello All, I haven’t done anything like this before not sure if there are rules or etiquette for this.The nearest to blogging I have done is given answers or advice at the Yahoo Answers community. A little about myself I am in my early 40s am partially deaf. The internet , emailing & stuff ( texting on mobiles too),is a godsend to someone like myself when it comes to communication. I am not sure what yet I am hoping to gain by learning about blogs & blogging I thought I should keep up to date with communication trends. So onto the next chapter……

Welcome flyingpig. I’ve certainly found blogging to lots of fun. Of course, in addition to carrying my camera with me, I’m now walking around visualizing everything as it happens to be thru the lens of how it will read as a post on my blog. Is flying pig the name that you are going to blog under? BTW - I changed my name about 5 times before I settled in on BBat50.

I don’t know I have not decided yet as I imagine others on the net will have similar names, it’s not an unusual sounding one is it? Sounds like you’re getting ideas all the time walking around your day to day world for your blog, I suppose you have a notebook too just like writers have (I mean novelists).I’m being cautious don’t know if I am going to get the bug. Certainly I have found blog posts & forums very useful in the past for advice usually of a technical nature. Very nice to meet you.
