About Topsy-Techie (Blog Writing Course Instructor)
In her own words…
I’m a writer, a lover of all things wired and shiny, and a homeschooling mom raising two geeklings who I now have to look up to. It’s a mind boggling place to be right now, because I was just teaching them how to use a mouse last week!
Topsy-Techie received her B.A. in Creative Writing, and has spent most of her career in freelance writing and marketing. She has written extensively about homeschooling and assistive technology - - two of her passions. In addition to her personal blog, Topsy-Techie, she also writes or contributes to six other blogs and websites, including the blog at BlogWritingCourse.com.
Topsy-Techie is an alumnus of Blogging 101, and did so well with the course she was asked back to be the teacher! She has thoroughly enjoyed taking over the helm at BWC, and has this to say about her experiences teaching the new blogging students…

Because people are so diverse, the topics and themes of our blogging students never seem to overlap or even bear any resemblance to other blogs! Not only does this make the course fun to teach, but it makes it so interesting for the students themselves to see how those themes they each introduce in the first week evolve into full blown blogs with subscribers by the end of week 8!!”
